End of Season Patriotic Pennants

I finished the pennant strings for me and dear daughter over the weekend.  I like the scrappy look.  They were super easy to make.  I modified my triangle to a more narrow triangle pattern to get the look I wanted.  Once I had all the fabric cut, it took about an hour to sew the triangles and put it together in the binding string.  I did end up ripping open the stitching on the binding string so I could insert the pennants between the folds and sew it in.  It turned out much neater than sewing the pennants onto the binding string.

I cut out 10 bags with straps from the pink rose curtain fabric.  They are ready to sew.  I'll be working on those over the next couple of weeks.
