Knitting Project

    In January I bought some lovely straight knitting needles from Knitpicks so I could knit scarves.  They are size 13 (9.0 mm).  I'm really enjoying knitting with these needles.

    I also bought a collection of small skeins of acrlic yarn from Amazon in pinks and purple tones.  I'm using 9 of these skeins to knit a scarf.  I'm using up each skein and knitting 4 rows in between each color with a color I found in my stash.  I'm calling this the ugliest scarf I've ever seen, but I think when I wear it next winter I'll love it.

All The Blue Hexagon Flowers Are Done

     I finished all 36 full flowers and 6 half flowers.  These are ready for me to add the white hexies that will separate each flower in the row.  I think I counted that each row will need 96 white hexagons to finish it.  Not sure if that is accurate but it's probably pretty close.
