I made these two scarfs with a large skein of Red Heart red yarn. The longer scarf is mine and is 72" long. The shorter scarf was made with the leftover yarn and measured 54" long. The shorter scarf will go to my daughter. I used size 11 needles and 36 stitches for each scarf.
